CITY OF SAN BERNAADINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The two parcels of property the City of San Bernardino proposes to quitclaim to the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino are at the Northwesterly edge of
the Superblock Project and are an integral part of the project.
Two appraisals were done and the agreed upon "base price" is $100,000. The Rede-
velopment Agency will pay the City no less than $100,000 within a 5 year time
period or when the property is used to expand the initial Superblock Project,
whichever comes sooner. At the time the Redevelopment Agency pays the City for the
property, another appraiser will be selected and approved by both agencies. The
final sale price will be the new appraised price - or $100,000 - whichever is the
greater.
We recommend that the attached Resolution by approved.
URGENCY CLAUSE
This Resolution is being put on the December 18, 1995 Council Agenda so the two
parcels can be transferred to the Redevelopment Agency for inclusion in Tentative
Parcel Map 14718 and the map can be recorded prior to the end of 1995.
