That the plans for the improverient of the northeast corner of Mill
Street and Pepper Avenue, in accordance with Plan No. 9378 , be
approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the improvement of the northeast corner of Mill
Street and Pepper Avenue have been prepared, and the project is
ready to be advertised for bids . The project consists, in
general , of installing curbs and gutters, sidewalk and fill-in
street paving adjacent to the Flood Control Basin.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 87 , 830
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #7006) 13 , 200
Sub-Total $ 101 , 030
Contingencies (150) ± 14 , 970
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 116 , 000
An amount of $150 , 000 has been allocated in th 1995/96
Gas Tax Fund Budget, under Account No. 126-369-5507006 , to
finance the costs that will be incurred for this project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
