STAFF REPORT
Bids for maintenance of landscaping in Assessment
Districts No. 974 , 975 , 981 , 986 , 989 , 1001 and 1007 were opened
on Tuesday, November 21 , 1995 , at 2 : 00 p.m.
A total of 6 bids were received, ranging from $22 , 240 . 60
to $46 ,422 . 04 . The low bid of $22 , 240 . 60 is 44 . 2% below the
Engineer' s Estimate of $39 , 868 . 00 .
Below is the total estimated annual cost, based upon the
actual low bid price:
Maintenance Contract $ 22 , 240 . 40
Incidental Costs (Assessment
Engineering, Inspection, Water,
Administrative Fees & Electricity 34 , 819 . 60
TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL COST ------ $ 57 , 060 . 00
All costs incurred will be charged to Accounts No. 251-
648-5506 , 251-649-5506 , 251-655-5506 , 251-661-5506 , 251-662-5506 ,
251-681-5506 , and 254-693-5506 , and recovered through assessments
placed on the parcels within these assessment districts.
We recommend that a contract be awarded to the low
bidder.
