I RESOLUTION
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO PROVIDING FOR THE
3 APPOINTMENTS OF A MAYOR PRO TEMPORE FOR THE 1993-94 FISCAL YEAR,
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1993.

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 36 of the Charter of the City of San Bernardino, the
6
7 Mayor and Common Council hereby establish a procedure for the appointment of a Mayor-Pro
8 Tempore to be effective and operative in case of vacancy, or if by reason of absence from the
9 City, or sickness, or from any cause, the Mayor is unable to perform the duties of his office.
10 In such cases the rotating appointment of a Mayor Pro Tempore for the 1993-94 fiscal year shall
11 be automatically made for each month in advance by the adoption of this resolution in
12
accordance with the following schedule:

15 August, 1993 Council Member Third Ward
16 September, 1993 Council Member Fourth Ward
17 October, 1993 Council Member Fifth Ward

1 SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective on July 1, 1993.
