Synopsis of Previous Council action:
12-17-84 -- Resolution No. 84-524, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience and necessity required
the formation of a sewer lift station maintenance district.
11-19-84 -- Resolution No. 84-486, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of
said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said sewer
lift station.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 84-524 and 84-486, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 963 (Allen St. Sewer Lil-t
Station Maintenance District) has been prepared and is attached to the
Resolution.
The roll for 1993-94 totals $1,863.12 and is submitted to your Honorable Body
for action as required.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1993-94 ASSESSMENT
3 ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 963, FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF A SEWER 1,wr
STATION IN PORTIONS OF ALLEN STREET, NORTH OF CENTRAL AVENUE IN THE CITY OF
4 SAN BERNARDINO.
5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 84-524, the Mayor and Common Council found
6 that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the formation
7 of a sewer lift station maintenance district; and
8
9 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 84-524, the Mayor and Common Council
10 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 963 for the
11 purpose of providing maintenance of a sewer lift station in the area of Allen
12 Street, North of Central Avenue pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90
13 of the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 84-486, the Mayor and Common Council de-
15 clared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will
16 be benefited by the maintenance of said sewer lift station; and
17
18 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 84-486 declared that an annual assessment
19 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for said
20 sewer lift station maintenance; and
21 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $1,863.12, which
22 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels, of
23 land within Assessment District No. 963 for the fiscal year 1993-94;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter-
5 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of la,id
6 within Assessment District No. 963 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll
7 No. 963 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A" and attac}ied
8 hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments.
9 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of ibis
10 Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
11 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
12 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together
13 with all other property taxes.
