RE: Resolution requesting services from County Registrar of
Voters for September 14 , 1993 , Special Municipal
Election

Pursuant to Election Code Section 22003 , any city may by
resolution request the County Board of Supervisors to render
election-related services .
For all past municipal elections, the City has contracted with
the Registrar of Voters Office to provide supplies and services .
We have been working with the County Registrar of Voters Office
to prepare for the 1993 Special Municipal Election and need
formal adoption of the attached resolution which will permit the
County Registrar of Voters to furnish the services and supplies
which will be needed.
Recommend approval of the attached resolution.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REQUESTING THAT
3 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO PERMIT
THE COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES TO THE CITY OF
4 SAN BERNARDINO, RELATING TO A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON SEPTEMBER 14 , 1993 .

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1 . As authorized by Section 22003 of the Election
8
Code of the State of California, the Mayor and Common Council
9
request that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
a 10
Bernardino permit the County Registrar of Voters to furnish
11
services and supplies to this City for use in the Special
12 Municipal Election to be held on September 14, 1993 . The services
13
i and supplies to be provided are a data processing tape containing
14
the name and addresses of all registered voters in the City of San
15
Bernardino, four indexes per polling place, polling place roster
16
17 indexes, and other services as may be required by the City Clerk
for the conduct of the election.

SECTION 2 . The City shall reimburse the County of San
19
Bernardino for services performed when the work is completed and
20
upon presentation of a properly approved bill .
21
SECTION 3 . The City Clerk shall transmit certified copies
22
of this resolution to the Board of Supervisor and the Registrar of
23
Voters of the County of San Bernardino.
