Steinhaus, Agency Administrator EDA ------------------------------------------------------------------ As we discussed in our telephone conversation of today, it has been brought to my attention that the resolution dealing with the Mayor Pro Tempore assignments is in effect until June 30, 1993. Therefore, it seems that Councilman Eddie Negrete will serve as Mayor Pro Tempore and preside over the Council Meeting of June 21, 1993 . There are a couple of issues that will be on the agenda for consideration that I am requesting your assistance and support. They are as follows: 1. Appointments to the IVDA and SBIAA: I would request that you modify the motion on my staff report to request the re-appointment of Tom Minor, Mayor, as delegate to the IVDA. That the appointment to the SBIAA at this time be modified to request Tom Minor, Mayor, be appointed to the SBIAA. The remaining appointments (delegates and alternates) to both boards will be acted upon at a later date. 2 . It is my understanding that Councilman Ralph Hernandez has requested that the issue of the General Services consolidated state building matter be discussed. As you are aware, this office, through the previous administration, as well as my involvement over the last forty-five days, has been substantial. I very much want to be part of any discussion on this issue, and my attendance at the U.S. Conference of Mayors will prohibit me from doing so on June 21, 1993 . Therefore, I respectfully ask that you request, on my behalf, that the Council continue this matter tf �t I low Councilwoman Valerie Pope-ludlam June 16, 1993 Page 2. 1 until the July 6, 1993 Council Meeting so that I can participate in the discussion and any action that may come from said discussions.
