HARDGRAVE Subject: Restrictions - West side of "E" Street, between 16th Street and Dept: Public Works 17th Street Date: 5-07-93 Synopsis of Previous Council action: 11-16-92 - Resolutions 92-434 & 92-435 adopted authorizing removal of the following parking restrictions, on the west side of "E" Street, between 16th Street and 17th Street: 1) No Parking between 10 : 00 P.M. and 6 : 00 A.M. 2) 2-Hour Parking between 9: 00 A.M. and 6 : 00 P.M. ; AND directed Traffic Engineer to submit a report at the c Council meeting of 6--7-93 relating to the impacts of removing the above restrictions. Recommended motion: 1 . ADINO - REQUEST F0711 COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT As directed at the Council meeting of 11-16-92 , the following is a follow-up report by the City Traffic Engineer, relative to the removal of the parking restrictions on the west side of "E" Street, between 16th Street and 17th Street: The 2-hour parking limitation and the "No Overnight" parking restrictions were removed at the end of November, 1992 . No complaints have been received. All of the businesses located within this area were surveyed by the Traffic Engineer. No adverse effects were reported, due to the removal of the restric- tions. The Police Department has not raised any concerns regarding this matter. The Traffic Safety Committee reviewed this issue at their meeting of 4-14-93 . Since removal of the restrictions has not had any adverse effects , the Committee recommended no further action on this matter.
