Synopsis of Previous Council action:
02-18-91 -- Resolution No. 91-56, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity re-
quired the formation of a landscaping maintenance district.
08-06-90 -- Resolution No. 90-337, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by maintenance of said landscaping.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 90-337 and 91-56, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 993 (Cajon and June Str,�(!t
Landscaping Maint. Distr. ) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1993-94 totals $ 25,411.98 and is submitted to your Honorable
Body for action as required.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1993-94
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 993, LANDSCAPING MAINTENAN('►? ,
3 SOUTHWEST OF CAJON BOULEVARD AT JUNE STREET.

5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-56, the Mayor and Common Council
6 that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the formation
7 of a landscaping maintenance district; and
8
9 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 91-56, the Mayor and Common Council
I10 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 993 fot : lie
11 purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Cajon and June
12 Avenues pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Berna) "no
13 City Municipal Code; and
14
15 kl:t;REAS, by Resolution No. 90-337, the Mayor and Common Council declared
16 that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will l)e
17 benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and
18
19 WHEREAS, said Resolution No.90-337 declared that an annual assessiv -iit
20 slioll be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for said
21 landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and
22
23 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $ 25,411.98 which
24 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of
25 land within Assessment District No. 993 for the fiscal year 1993-94;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CI'I
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SI ''TION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter-

5 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of 1 I(i
s Hi.thin Assessment District No. 993 are correctly set forth on Assessment
7 Roll No. 993 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A"
8 attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments.

10 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
11 Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
12 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessmeni . Le
13 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together
14 with all other property taxes.
