Synopsis of Previous Council action:
4-15-91 -- Resolution No.91-139, adopted by the 'Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity
required the formation of a signalization installation district.
3-18-91 -- Resolution No.91-91, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council ,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by the installation of said traffic
signals.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code alld
Resolutions No. 91-91 and 91-139, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 1004 (Commercenter East
Signalization District) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1993-94 totals $ 6,581.47 and is submitted to your Honorable R,:dy
for action as required.

ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1004, SIGNALIZATION DISTRi(,,',

5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-139, the Mayor and Common Council found
6 that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the form,' ()n
7 of a Signalization district; and
8
9 k'1;kREAS, by said Resolution No. 91-139, the Mayor and Common Council
10 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 1004 for ! lie
11 purpose of installing traffic signals in the area of Commercenter East and
12 Hospitality Lane pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the S,,n
13 Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-91, the Mayor and Common Council decl�rml
15 that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will be
16 benefited by the installation of said traffic signals; and
17
18 WHEREAS, said Resolution No.91-91 declared that an annual assessment
19 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for soi d
20 traffic signal installation and the administration thereof; and
21 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $6,581.47 wh;('h
22 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of
23 land within Assessment District No. 1004 for the fiscal year 1993-94;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

4 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter-
5 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of Livid
6 within Assessment District No. 1004 are correctly set forth on Assessment
7 Roll No. 1004 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A" irid
8 attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments.

10 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of 1his
11 Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
12 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
13 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together with
14 all other property taxes.
