Synopsis of Previous Council action:
02-17-86 -- Resolution No. 86-47, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by the construction of a fire station.
03-17-86 -- Resolution No. 86-82, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity re
quired the formation of a fire station construction reimburseuwitt
assessment district.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code iid
Resolutions No. 86-47 and 86-82, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 971 (Tri-City Fire Stcil lon
Construction Distr.) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1993-94 totals $139,141.92 and is submitted to your Honor,.hle
Body for action as required.

kESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1993-94 ASSESSMENT
3 ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 971, FIRE STATION CONSTRUCTION REIMBURSEMIENT
DISTRICT IN THE TRI-CITY AREA.

5 W111,REAS, by Resolution No. 86-82, the Mayor and Common Council found
6 that the public interest, convenience and necessity required the formation of
7 a fire station construction reimbursement district; and
8 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 86-82, the Mayor and Common Coinwil
9 farmed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 971 for reim-
10 bursement of funds for the construction of a fire station in the Tri-City
11 Area pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Munic-

ipal Code; and

14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-47, the Mayor and Common Council declared
15 that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will he
16 benefited by the construction of said fire station; and
17 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 86-47 declared that an annual assess iwot
18 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide reimbursement to
19 the City of San Bernardino for the construction of said fire station; and
20
21 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $139,141.92 which
22 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the par: :�lti of
23 land within Assessment District No. 971 for the fiscal year 1993-94;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CIT) OF
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

Sh 'TION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter-

mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of I.-Ind
Within Assessment District No. 971 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll
6
No. 971 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A" and attachod
7
hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments.
8
9 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of 11tis
10 Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
11 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessmeills be
12 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together with
13 all other property taxes.
