Synopsis of Previous Council action:
3-7-85 --- Resolution No. 85-98, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council ,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by the construction of said
improvements.
5-13-85 --- Resolution No. 85-167, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience and necessity requited
the formation of an improvement district for the construction of
curbs, gutters, paving, driveway approaches, street lights ind
appurtenant facilities.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code •,nd
Resolutions No. 85-98 and 85-167, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 965 (Lassen Sticet
Improvement District) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The.roll for 1993-94 totals $10,899.07 and is submitted to your Honorable Body
for action as required.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1993-94 ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 965, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LASSEN STRI,+1,
3 NORTH OF BASELINE STREET IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.

5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 85-167, the Mayor and Common Council f,,iod
6 that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the formation
7 of a street improvement and construction district; and
8
9 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 85-167, the Mayor and Common Council
10 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 965 for the
11 purpose of constructing street improvements in the area of Lassen Street
12 North of Baseline Street pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of :he
13 San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
14
15 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 85-98, the Mayor and Common Council 10-
16 clared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will
17 be benefited by the construction of said street improvements; and
18
19 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 85-98 declared that an annual assessment
20 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for ti,oid
21 construction; and
22
23 WM REAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $10,899.07 which
24 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of
25 land within Assessment District No. 965 for the fiscal year 1993-94;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CIT11 OF
2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

4 Si,('TION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter-
5 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of ',end
6 within Assessment District No. 965 are correctly set forth on Assessment
7 Roll No. 965 for the fiscal year 1993-94, designated as Exhibit "A" t►►d
8 attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments.

10 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
11 Re,.ulution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
12 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments he
13 placed on the subject 1993-94 property tax bills for collection together
14 with all other property taxes.
