STAFF REPORT
The proposed street name change of "F" Street, South of Kendall Drive, to
Shandin Hills Circle, was initiated by the City. This portion of street was
dedicated to the City on Tract No.s 11326 and 11329 as "F" Street, due to
it's alignment with County "F" Street, North of Kendall Drive.
This proposal was made as a result of the confusion that is created by the
fact that "F" Street does not align with "F" Street in the City, and is
primarily an East/West Street. After some investigation, it was found that
the original intent of the developer for this area was to name this street to
Shandin Hills Circle.
On December 17, 1987, the Real Property Section was authorized and directed
to proceed with proposed name change.
All of the departments within the City were notified of the proposed name
change and some have responded with their comments. There was some concerns
over possible confusion of the proposed street name with Shandin Hills Drive,
which is directly North of this street and the two streets tie in with each
other in their southern extremities. This area is still under development,
but there are no buildings proposed to front on this portion of "F" Street,
thus there would be no addresses along this street. A map showing the
proposed name change is attached .
Based on the above mentioned facts, it is recommended that the attached
resolution, changing the name of "F" Street South of Kendall Drive to Shandin
Hills Circle, be adopted.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CHANGING THE NAME OF "F"
STREET, SOUTH OF KENDALL DRIVE, TO SHANDIN HILLS CIRCLE, WITH AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF APRIL 1, 1988.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the name of "F" Street, South of Kendall Drive, be
G and the same is hereby changed to read Shandin Hills Circle with an
7 I effective date of April 1, 1988.
8 SECTION TWO: The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino shall cause
9 a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
10 County Recorder of the County of San Bernardino.
11 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by the
12 Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
13 meeting thereof held on the day of
