That a finding be made that the installation
of a replacement sewer line for 20th Street ,
east of "D" Street , is needed for health and
safety reasons .

STAFF REPORT
The homes on the north side of 20th Street , east of "D"
Street , are served by a private sewer line to the rear of these
lots . Since this is a private line , we have no record of its
location .
This line is subject to becoming plugged by tree roots ,
which renders the plumbing of these homes inoperative . When
this situation occurs , the residents are subjected to possible
contact with raw sewage .
Installation of a public sewer line will provide these
homes a reliable waste disposal system.
We recommend that a finding be made that the installation
of this sewer line is needed for health and safety reasons .
