Synopsis of Previous Council action:
July 6 , 1987 Council appointed 25 regular and 10 alternate
members of the General Plan Citizen Advisory
Committee .
July 20 , 1987 - Council appointed 2 alternate members of the
General Plan Citizen Advisory Committee to
replace 2 other alternates who declined to
serve .
February 2 , 1988 - General Plan Task Force voted to remove three
Citizen Advisory Committee members and replace
with three alternate members .
Recommended motion:
Accept the recommendation of the General Plan Task Force to remove
three regular members of the General Plan Citizen Advisory Committee
(Antolin Gomez , Armando Gonzales and Sherrall Powell) and two
alternate members (Roy Copple and Susan Wilson) and appoint three
alternate members (Wade Byars , Ron Coats and Martha Scudder) to fill
the vacancies for regular membership .

General Plan Citizen Advisor Committee Date February 4, 1988

At its meeting of January 22, 1988, the General Plan Task Force reviewed the
attached attendance record of the Citizen Advisory Committee to determine
whether attendance requirements were being met by all members. Based on the
record, the Task Force voted to recommend to the Mayor and Council that the
following members be removed for excessive absences:
Regular Members
Antolin Gomez
Armando Gonzales
Sherrall Powell
Alternate Members
Ray Copple
Susan Wilson
The following alternate members were then recommended to replace the three
regular members who are recommended for removal :
Wade Byars
Ron Coats
Martha Scudder
These three individuals being recommended have maintained a perfect attendance
record.
