Dear Mayor Wilcox:
Just a brief note to confirm the proposed City Council workshop on
February 1, 1988 with the key leadership of the Chamber's Convention
& Visitor Bureau.
The purpose of the workshop is to update you and the members of the
City Council with the Chamber's progress in establishing an adequately
funded and staffed Convention & Visitor Bureau.
The workshop will also proceed the Chamber's formal proposal to the City's
Ways & deans C unittee and City Council for financial assistance in
establishing the proposed Bureau.
We are looking forward to the opportunity of briefing everyone on the
progress we are making toward accomplishing this important community
project.
