10-23-85 --- Authorization granted to prepare plans and specifications ,
with costs financed from $12 ,500 payment by developer .
June , 1987-- Allocation of $89 ,400 , from Federal -Aid Urban Funds ,
approved in 1987/88 Street Construction Fund Budget .
11-16-87 --- Finding made that project needed for health and safety
reasons .
11-17-87 --- Plans approved and authority granted to advertise for
bids .

STAFF REPORT
Program Supplement No . 49 will serve to obligate $125 ,000
in Federal -Aid Urban Funds for the installation of traffic sig -
nals at Mill Street and "G Street .
Federal -Aid Urban Funds can be used to finance 100% of the
project cost . Therefore , the only local agency funds that will
be expended is the $12 , 500 payment by the developer of the ad-
joining SIMA Project .
We recommend that Program Supplement No . 49 be approved .

SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT

NO . 3-5033 BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA , ACTING
4 BY AND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION .
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1 . The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is

hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said
8
city program supplement No . 49 to Local Agency-State Agreement
9
for Federal -Aid Projects No . 8-5033 to authorize certain safety
10
improvements , between said City and the State of California ,
11
acting by and through its Department of Transportation , a copy
12
of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated
13
herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length herein .

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
15
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
16

FOR FEDERAL-AID PROJECTS NO.
This Program Supplement is hereby incorporated into the Local Agency-State Agreement
for Federal-Aid which was entered into between the LOCAL AGENCY and the STATE on
4/6/78 and is subject to all the terms and conditions thereof. This Program
Supplement is adopted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article II of the aforementioned
Master Agreement under authority o'f Resolution No. 02 . approved by the
LOCAL AGENCY on /-A/, c (See copy attached).
The Local Agency further stipulates that as a condition to payment of funds obligated to this project.
