STAFF REPORT
Public Works Project No . 87 -30 is to allow the vacation of
a north/south alley , west of Mt . Vernon Avenue , between 16th Street
and Evans Street ( See Attached Map ) .
The project was reviewed by the City ' s Environmental Review
Committee on December 30 , 1987 , and a determination was made that
the proposed project would not have a significant impact upon the
environment .
Therefore , the Committee recommends adoption of a Negative
Declaration . The required fourteen ( 14 ) day public review period
began on January 7 , 1988 , and expired on January 20 , 1988 .
The health and safety findings , as required by OPR , were
made at the Council Meeting of November 16 , 1987 .
