Requests for Proposals were sent to the following Bond Counsels and
Investment Bankers by this office , in accordance with the directive
of the Mayor and Council issued at the Council Meeting of 12-21-87 .

4 . Brown & Diven
5 . Best , Best & Krieger
INVESTMENT BANKERS
1 . Miller & Schroeder Financial , Inc .
2 . Stone & Youngberg
3 . Chilton & O ' Conner , Inc .
4 . Reuscher , Pierce , Refsnes , Inc .
5 . Seidler & Fitzgerald
Proposals were received from all of these firms .
These were reviewed on 01-28-88 with representatives of these firms
by an Interview Panel comprised of the following persons :
1 . Councilwoman Esther Estrada
2 . Councilman Jack Reilly
3 . Greg Garcia , Project Coordinator ( Investment Bankers Only )
4 . Craig Graves , City Treasurer
5 . Verne Nadeau , Sr . Real Property Specialist
6 . Roger G . Hardgrave , Director of Public Works/City Engineer
After carefully reviewing the experience and qualifications of these
firms , the Interview Board concluded the firms of Brown & Diven , and
Miller & Schroeder were the best equipped at this time to provide the
needed services .
We recommend that the Agreements with these firms be approved .
