Item No . 5-15 , on the Council Supplemental Agenda of 12 -21-87 ,
was the repeal of the requirement to underground utilities upon
development of this parcel .
A field review has revealed that there are overhead utility lines
along the frontage and within a 12 ' utility easement along the
west boundary line of this parcel . Since the dimensions of this
parcel are approximately 65 ' X 116 ' , the total length of utility
lines affected by Standard Requirement No . 11 is 181 ' .
Edison has a standard estimate of $ 120 per foot for their facili -
ties . Therefore , the payment for undergrounding Edison ' s lines
will be $21 ,720 . There may be additional costs for undergrounding
other utility facilities .
A copy of the Assessor ' s Map is attached for reference .
