STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the
Assessment Diagram Map No. 969 for the maintenance of landscaping
in portions of Irvington Avenue and Olive Avenue.
On October 5, 1987, Resolution of Intention No. 87-363 was adopted
which instituted formal proceedings to form an assessment district
in the Irvington and Olive Avenue area for the maintenance of
landscaping .
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code were
ful l f l led, and on November 2, 1987 , the Resol uti on Orderi ng work
was adopted. The charges for the establishment of the district
total $ 1,152.69 which will be paid from the up-front money deposited
by the Developer.

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL
NO. 969 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF LANDSCAPING IN PORTIONS OF IRVINGTON AVENUE AND
3 OLIVE AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AND APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM
MAP NO. 969.
4 WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino
5 on October 5, 1987, adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 87-363, to order
6 the work described therein to be done under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of
7 the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
R WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on October 5, 1987, approved
6 the Engineer's Report on the proposed assessment district, which report in-
10 cludes a proposed assessment roll and Assessment District Map relative to
11 Assessment District No. 969; and
12 WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No. 87-363, the
13 City of San Bernardino proceeded without Notice and Hearing; and
14 WHEREAS, incidental expenses totalling $1,152.69 have been incurred
15 for the establishment of the district, which must be spread over the individual
16 parcels of said assessment district, the City has computed and set forth in
17 attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by reference the first year
18) assessment for each individual parcel , all of which are as set forth on Exhibit
10 "A" attached hereto, is hereby declared to be the Assessment District No. 969

20 Roll for 1987-88 for the Irvington and Olive Area Landscape Maintenance
21 District.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
231 BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
24 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and
25 determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land
26 within Assessment District No. 969 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll

1 No. 969 for the fiscal year 1937-88 , Irvington & Olive Area Land-
2 scape Maintenance District , designated as Exhibit "A" for total
3 costs of establishing the district which Exhibit is attached
4 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference , and the Mayor
i
5 and Common Council do hereby confirm said assessments .
6 SECTION 2 . That said Assessment Diagram Map No. 969 is
7 hereby approved.
8 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
9 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
10 Bernardino at a meeting thereof , held on the
11 day of 1988 , by the following vote , to
12 wit:
