Synopsis of Previous Council action:
03/05/84 --- Resolution No. 84-85 was adopted, changing the name of
Gould Drive , west of Tippecanoe Avenue, to Brier Drive.
Recommended motion:
That The Real Property Section of the Public Works Department be authorized
and directed to proceed with changing the name of Brier Drive, between Tippecanoe
and Carnegie Drive, to Joe Brier Drive.

STAFF REPORT
Brier Drive, between Tippecanoe and Carnegie Drive, was dedicated to the
City on the Map of Tract No. 12034, as Gould Drive, and was changed to Brier
Drive by Resolution No. 84-85, adopted on March 5, 1984.
On January 25, 1988, this office received a request from the Redevelopment
agency to change the name of Brier Drive to Joe Brier Drive.
It is therefore requested that the Real Property Section of the Public Works
Department be authorized and directed to proceed with the requested name
change.
Attached is a cupy of a map 5howiny location of street name co be changed, and
a copy of the request from RDA for the name change.

street name Brier Drive be changed to Joe Brier Drive. Please begin
