Synopsis of Previous Council action:
2-15-88 : Council directed the General Plan Task Force to meet to
reconsider its recommendation for membership on the
Citizen Advisory Committee.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Council revise membership on the General Plan
Citizen Advisory Committee by removing the following individuals :
Antolin Gomez , Armando Gonzales , Sherral•1 Powell, Roy Copple, and
Susan Wilson; and that the remaining alternate members be con-
sidered regular members , thereby increasing the total regular member-
ship from 25 to 30 and deleting the alternate member category.

STAFF REPORT
Subject: Membership on General Plan Citizen Advisory Committee
Mayor and Council Meeting of March 7 , 1988

On February 22 , 1988 , the General Plan Task Force met to discuss
membership on the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) . After review
of the CAC ' s attendance record, it was determined that the follow-
' ing five individuals should be removed for excessive absences :
Antolin Gomez
Armando Gonzales
Sherrall Powell
Roy Copple
Susan Wilson
The Task Force then voted unanimously to recommend to the Mayor and
Council that the remaining alternate members all be considered regular
members, thereby increasing the total regular membership from 25 to
30 and deleting the alternate member category.
