The City of Los Angeles and my Thirteenth Council District are very happy to share with you the continued succes of the LAT I NOS IN HOLLYWOOD Photographic exhibit. Los Angeles is one of the most diverse societies in the world and we are also home to the largest population of Latinos in the United States. In the early years of motion pictures,Latinos and Latinas played a major role in the creation of Hollywood. Movie stars like Ramon Novarro,Dolores del Rio,Lupe Valdez and many more have paved the way for the new Latina/o Superstars of today. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas have proven that Latinos are continuing this Holly- wood legacy. It is my deepest desire to support the Latino culture in our great City of Los Angeles. I am very proud and honored to host the LATI NOS IN HOLLYWOOD photographic exhibitin the Thir- teenth Council District and look forward to working with the city's Cultural Affairs Department in bringing more diverse cultural arts to our City of Los Angeles.
