Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to choosing a delegate for this conference
Motion: Designate a delegate and an alternate delegate for the Southern
California Association of Governments 50th Annual Regional Conference
and General Assembly.
Background:
The Southern California Association of Governments' (SCAG) 50th Annual Regional
Conference and General Assembly, "Celebrating our Past; Envisioning Our Future" will
be held May 7 - 8, 2015 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm
Desert, California.
Each year, SCAG's member cities select a Delegate and/ or Alternate to represent their
city -to participate at this Annual Meeting. There is no registration charge for elected
officials.
The General Assembly meets once a year and it is the only meeting of SCAG's entire
membership. The full agenda for the conference will be forwarded to the Delegate/
alternate that the MCC chooses to represent the City of San Bernardino.
The SCAG Delegate and/ or Alternates are required to submit FPPC Form 700,
Statement of Economic Interests, to the SCAG office prior to the meeting.
