Background: Chapter 5.04.076 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code authorizes the city to impose liens of the real property described as Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for uncollected business registration fees and all future fees and penalties. Financial Impact: None Recommendation: Recommended motion that the hearing be closed; that the City Clerk be directed to administratively remove any properties from Exhibit "A" which have been paid prior to the hearing; and that said resolution be adopted. 1 COPY Ci 2 RESOLUTION NO. 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS 4 ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION FEES. 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE 6 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its 8 authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 9 5. 04. 076 does hereby impose liens on the real property 10 described as Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated 11 herein by reference, for uncollected business registration 12 fees and all future fees and penalties. 13 Due notice was given to the person or persons having an 14 interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Mayor 15 and Common Council to hear protests and to assess the fees 16 imposed on said property. 17 SECTION 2 . The matter having now come before the Mayor 18 and Common Council for confirmation of the imposition of the � 19 liens imposed, the following fees are found to have been 20 collectible after proper notification to the 21 property/business owner pursuant to proceedings under said 22 provisions of the San Bernardino Municipal Code. The 23 statements of fees on file with the City Clerk are hereby 24 confirmed and adopted as special assessments against the 25 properties listed on Exhibit "A" hereto. 26 27 28 // I RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS 2 ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION 3 FEES. 4 SECTION 3 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a 5 certified copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the 6 County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing the 7 said sum be entered as lien charges against said property as a 8 it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected 9 at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same 10 penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general 11 taxes for the City of San Bernardino are collected.
