and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to
advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for Phase II of the improvements to Littlefield/
Shultis (Buckboard) Park have been completed by the Consultant,
and the project is ready to be advertised for bids . The project
consists , in general , of constructing a rest room building, tot
lot, parking lot and lighting. Landscaping will be included as
an Additive Alternate, and included in the contract in the event
that sufficient funds are available.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 219,079
I Consultant' s Design Fee 10 , 994
Construction Engineering (W.O. #1823) 11 , 000
$ 241 , 073
Contingencies (5%) ± $ 12 , 927
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 254 , 000
Additive Alternate - Landscaping $ 15 , 000
All costs incurred for these improvements will be
financed from the $255 , 000 allocated in the Park Construction Fee
Fund, under Account No. 243-363-5504-1823 .
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
