(#3498) Current Business Registration Certificate: Not Applicable Financial Impact: The overall Charter 186 financial impact for the Police Management group will result in an increase of$88,415.00 to the General Fund. Motion: Adopt the Resolution. Synopsis of Previous Council Action: On December 3, 2013, the Mayor and Common Council approved the establishment of salaries for Police Department Ranges P-4 (Lieutenant), P-5 (Captain), P-6 (Assistant Chief of Police), and P-7 (Chief of Police) effective August 1, 2013. Background: Section 186 of the City Charter established a formula for setting salaries for local safety members, effective August 1 of each year. An agreement was reached for the 10 cities to be used for this year's calculations. The salaries of those 10 cities have been averaged to determine 2014 salaries for Police Management classifications.
