MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MAYOR W.R. HOLCOMB AND JOE
GAGLIARDI, PRESIDENT OF CALIFORNIA BASEBALL LEAGUE.
We agree to use our best efforts to accomplish the following
deal points between the City of San Bernardino and Salinas Spurs:
1. Lease Payment:
Minimum annual payment of $40,, 000. 00
5% of 1st $150, 000 Gross
7% of 2nd $150, 000 Gross
9% of 2nd $300, 000 Gross
2 . Term of Lease: One (1) year with no options
3 . Sports Bar: Area to remain as is.
4 . Scoreboard/Message Center: City and ball club to work jointly
to procure sign sponsor. If no sponsor is found, obligation
for scoreboard is split 50/50.
5. Netting: City will maintain.
6. Stadium Maintenance and Repair: City is responsible.
7. Stadium Clean-Up: Ball Club to provide stadium clean-up.
8 . Game Preparation: City.
9 . Field Maintenance: City.
10. Stadium Utilities: Citry.
11. Office Utilities: Ball Club.
12 . Traffic and Parking Control: Ball Club.
13 . Restroom Cleaning and Restocking: City.
14 . Restroom Attendants During Game: Ball Club.
15. Joe Gagliardi will use best efforts of League to assist in
bringing local component to team.
