06-03-91 --- Resolution No. 91-272 adopted authorizing execution
of a Co-operative Agreement with Caltrans.
Recommended motion:
1 . That the plans for installation of traffic signals at Interstate
Route I-215 and Orange Show Road/Auto Plaza Drive, in accordance
with Plan No. 8565 , be approved; and the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer authorized to advertise for bids .
2 . That the appropriation under Account No. 242-362-57384 , "Traffic
Signals at Orange Show Road/Auto Plaza Drive, " be increased to
$312, 500, to reflect amount authorized Cooperative A eement
with the State.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of traffic signals at Route I-
215 Freeway and Orange Show Road/Auto Plaza Drive, have been
prepared by a consulting engineer, and the project is ready to be
advertised for bids. The project consists of installing traffic
signals at the two intersections of the freeway ramps with Orange
Show Road/Auto Plaza Drive.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost.
Construction Contract $ 217, 300
Consultant Design Services (P.O. #905981) 5 ,500
Preliminary Engineering (W.O. #1936) 19,500
Construction Engineering 27 , 700
Sub-Total $ 270, 000
Contingencies (15%) ± 42 , 000
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 312,000
