Synopsis of Previous Council action:
1/21/92 -- The Mayor and Common Council unanimously approved the closure of
City Hall between December 24, 1992 and January 3, 1993.
Recommended motion:
That the Council Meetings during the month of January 1993 be held on January
11th and January 20th due to the closure of City Hall during the period
December 24, 1992 through January 3, 1993 and the commemoration of Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr's birth on January 18, 1993.

CITY OF SAN BER. ARDINO - REQUEST r-OR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
In accordance with action taken by the Mayor and Common Council,
City Hall will be closed during the period December 24, 1992
through January 3 , 1993. This closure will not allow staff
sufficient time to prepare an agenda for the regularly scheduled
meeting of January 4th. In addition, the commemoration of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Is birth will be celebrated on Monday,
January 18th and City Hall will again be closed.
In view of the above, it is respectfully recommended that the
meetings of the Mayor and Common Council, during the month of
January, 1993 , be held on Monday, January 11th and Wednesday,
January 20th.
