He a. has been and will continue to oversee and coordinate all budget related activities. In addition to routine budget duties, Dixon has been responsible for; • Coordinating and preparing the FY 14/15 Budget including the personnel and a expenditure budget. • Coordinating the Mid-Year review report. • Coordination and preparation of carryovers. • FY 12-13 & 13-14 Preliminary Budget Preparation — Dixon worked with departments to prepare the personnel, discretionary and internal service budgets. Packet Pg. 152 5.H.a • New World Budget Module Setup and Training — Dixon worked with the New World representatives and the City's IT department to setup the budget module. He also conducted New World budget training sessions for departments. He is also responsible for entering the expenditure and revenue budgets in the New World system. • Pre-Pendency and Pendency Plans — Dixon worked with the previous Finance Director in providing and preparing analysis and supporting documents for the Pre-Pendency and Pendency Plans. • Bankruptcy Documents and Analysis — Dixon has been working with the current Finance Director and Urban Future's staff to prepare documents and analysis critical to the City's bankruptcy petition. N • Special Reports — Dixon conducted surveys and special studies for the Finance Director and City Manager. • Position Control — Dixon works with Human Resources in maintaining the City's position control and ensures it abides to adopted budget. This task also involves o calculating savings obtained from vacancies. This report is used by the City Manager, Finance Director and Human Resources Division Manager as it is Q critical to the bankruptcy petition and negotiations with the various City Bargaining Units.
