Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to update the resolution. Position classification and salary
adjustments have been incorporated into the 2014-2015 approved budget.
Motion: Adopt the Resolution.
Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
On July 18, 2011 the Mayor and Common Council adopted Resolution 2011-218, a resolution of
the City of San Bernardino amending Resolution 6413, Sections Ten, Eleven, Twelve, and
Fourteen, entitle in part "A resolution.....establishing a basic compensation plan..."by updating
information codifying prior council actions (General, Middle-Management, and Confidential &
Management.
Background:
On July 18, 2011, the Mayor and Common Council adopted Resolution No. 2011-218 amending
Resolution No. 6413, Sections Ten, Eleven, Twelve and Fourteen which pertains to full-time
employees.
The attached Resolution has been codified to reflect all department reorganizations,
classifications, and salary adjustments for the period July 2011 through September 2014, as
previously approved by the Mayor and Common Council.
The Human Resources Department is requesting the Resolution be adopted to reflect the
previously-approved Council items.
