Recommended motion:
That the plans for modification of the traffic signals at Del Rosa
Avenue and Date Place to provide left turn phases , in accordance
with Plan No. 8996 , be approved; and the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids .

STAFF REPORT
Plans for modification of the traffic signals at Del Rosa
Avenue and Date Place have been prepared by the Engineering
Division, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
The project consists of modifying the traffic signals to provide
left turn phases for northbound and southbound traffic on Del
Rosa Avenue.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 23, 000
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1516) 7 , 300
Sub-Total $ 30, 300
Contingencies (15%) ± 4, 700
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 35,000
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
the $60 , 000 allocated under Account No. 250-670-57477 , in the
Traffic Systems Fee Fund.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids .
