STAFF REPORT
The northwest quadrant of the intersection of Monterey
Avenue and Pedley Road is within the area annexed to the City by
Resolution No. 93-239, adopted on 7-6-93 .
Stop signs had previously been installed at this inter-
section for the north and south approaches on Pedley Road.
It is recommended that Monterey Avenue be designated as
a through highway, in order to reflect the stop sign for the
south bound approach on Pedley Road that is within the City
limits .
Since the stop sign is existing, no cost will be
incurred by this action.

RESOLUTION NO. 655 ENTITLED, IN PART, "A RESOLUTION. .
3 DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTIONS THEREOF AS THROUGH
HIGHWAYS. . . ; " AND PROVIDING THAT MONTEREY AVENUE IS A THROUGH
4 HIGHWAY AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH PEDLF.Y ROAD.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 : Resolution No. 655 , which designates certain
7
streets, or portions thereof, as through highways, Section 1 , is
8
amended by adding Subsection 10 . 3 to read:

"10 . 3 MONTEREY AVENUE
10 At its intersection with Pedley Road. "
