That refund of Park Development Fees in the amount of $3,387.32 to Northpark
can Bernardino, Ltd. , due to overpayment of fees paid for residential development
on lots 6-25 on Tract No. 10352-2, be approved.

APPROVAL TO REFUND PARR
DEVELOPMENT FEES IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,387 .32 TO
NORTHPARK SAN BERNARDINO,
LTD. , DUE TO OVERPAYMENT OF
FEES PAID FOR RESIDENTIAL
DEVELOPMENT ON LOTS 6-25 ON
TRACK NO. 10352-2 .
Griffith Homes originally paid Park Development Fees for
residential development on Tract No. 10352-2 . On March 1,
1993 , the assignment of those fees and credit by Griffith
Homes was transferred to Northpark San Bernardino, Ltd. , the
new developers of the project.
Under the new developer, the size of the homes was reduced,
thus reducing the valuation and in turn reducing the amount of
fees paid for each residential unit constructed. The
difference in the amount paid originally and the amount due on
the development plan is $3 , 387 . 32 . This overpayment amount
has been verified as correct by the Director of Planning and
Building Services. A copy of the verification memo is
attached.
The developer has requested a refund for the overpaid fees.
Based on the foregoing information and the verification of
amounts as being correct, it is recommended that the refund be
approved.

Dear Mr. Kim:
Per the attached letter from Ms. Annie Ramos regarding
the credit owed for the park development fees paid by
Griffith Homes, and the March 1 , 1993 assignment of those
fees and credit by Griffith Homes to Northpark San Bernar-
dino, Ltd. we are applying for the refund of the excess
fees at this time.
I have attached the following exhibits:
1 . ) Copies of building permits issued May 21, 1993
indicating credit allowed against the Griffith payment
on 20 lots.
2. ) Spreadsheet showing amount of Griffith fees paid
for each of these lots, less the credit allowed for the
Osborne home, leaving a balance of $3,387.32 refund due
to Northpark San Bernardino, Ltd. for fees paid in
excess of required.
Please issue a check in the amount of $3,387.32 for
overpaid fees directly to Northpark San Bernardino, Ltd.

In response to your memo of July 2 , 1993 regarding verification of
the amount of park fees originally paid by Griffith Homes, the
amount of park fees required of Northpark San Bernardino, Ltd. and
the amount of overage, I have verified that for lots 6-25, a refund
in the amount of $3387. 32 is accurate.
I have attached the spreadsheet you originally forwarded
summarizing the park fees, copies of Griffith's original permits in
addition to copies of the new permits issued for lots 6-25.
