STAFF REPORT
With the recent additions to the Council and with ongoing court decisions involving the
Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code § 54950 et seq.) it is helpful to periodically review the
provision of this Act as it governs the proceedings of not only the Mayor and Council, but the
Council Committees, and the other boards and commissions of the City.
