Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
01-22-96 Resolution No. 96-16 was adopted, approving Tract No. 14448
I Recommended Motion
That the City Engineer and City Clerk be authorized to proceed with the initiating of proceedings for
the establishment of an assessment district under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino
Municipal Code and that the City Engineer be directed to prepare an Engineer's Report for the
proposed maintenance of landscaping along portions of Northpark Boulevard, Mountain Drive and Hill
Drive within Tract No. 14448.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an assessment district for the
maintenance of landscaping along portions of Northpark Boulevard, portions of Mountain Drive and portions
of Hill Drive within Tract No. 14448. The assessment district is a requirement of the development of this
tract. The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to represent the owners
of 100 percent of the area of the property lying within the proposed boundaries of the district to be assessed
for the proposed construction.
The developer will be required to deposit the cost of the proceedings, which is estimated to be $4,000.
Upon receiving authorization to proceed, an Engineer's Report will be prepared, which will set forth the
details of the improvements to be maintained and the financing details.
Staff recommends that authorization be given.
