Synopsis of Previous Council action:
10-04-93 - Resolution No. 93-382 adopted authorizing the Mayor to
execute application to Economic Development Adminis-
tration for a grant.
03-21-94 - Resolution No. 94--68 adopted authorizing execution of
approval and award of grant.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of a sewer main in Palm Meadows
Drive, from Gifford Avenue to Mt. View Avenue, in accordance with
Plan No. 9475 be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City
Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids .

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans have been prepared for installation of a sewer main
in Palm Meadows Drive, from Gifford Avenue to Mt. View Avenue.
The project consists , in general , of installing a 15-inch sewer
main from Gifford Avenue to Tippecanoe Avenue, and a 12-inch
sewer main from Tippecanoe Avenue to Mt. View Avenue.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 296 , 180
Construction Inspection (W.O. #1993) 29 , 618
Sub--Total $ 325 , 798
Contingencies (15%) ± 48 , 202
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 374 , 000
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
Account No. 242-362-5504-1993 , and billed to the grant from the
Federal Economic Development Administration and Inland Valley
Development Agency.
`do City funds will be used to finance any portion of this
project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
