Bids for improvement of the northeast corner of Mill
Street and Pepper Avenue were opened at 2 : 00 p.m. , Tuesday, 3-19-
96 .
A total of 14 bids were received, ranging from $83 , 724 . 25
to $125 , 671 . 28 . The low bid of $83 , 724 . 25 is 4 . 7% below the
Engineer' s Estimate of $87 , 830 .
Below is an estimate of the total project cost, based
upon the actual low bid price :

Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #7006) 13 , 200 . 00
Sub-Total $ 96 , 924 . 25
Contingencies (15%) ± 14 , 075 . 75

finance the costs that will be incurred for this project.
