Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of cross gutters on 16th Street, at
"E" Street and Arrowhead Avenue, in accordance with Plan No. 9725 ,
be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids .

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans for installation of cross gutters on 16th Street,
at "E" Street and Arrowhead Avenue, have been completed and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists , in general , of removing the existing cross gutters and
pavement as required; and installing new facilities .
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 12 , 334
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #7112) 2 , 000
Sub-Total $ 14 , 334
Contingencies (5%) ± 666
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 15 , 000
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
the $15 ,000 allocated in the 1996/97 Storm Drain Construction
Fund Budget, under Account No. 248-368-550--7112 .
We recommend that the plans be approved, and
authorization granted to advertise for bids.
