Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
This is a follow-up to previous Council actions taken on 9/2/97 regarding fireworks. To bring closure to this issue, the Council
is asked to reconsider the three motions either individually or collectively. If no action is taken on any of the three motions,
the existing ordinance remains in effect.
Motions to be Considered:
Motion 1: That the future sale of fireworks be limited to persons 18 years of age or older.
Motion 2: That no fireworks activity will exist north of the northern most boundary of Route 30 (Cross-Town Freeway).
Motion 3: That a sales curfew for fireworks exist between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
