2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
3 CHAPTER 1.16 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO REESTABLISH
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SEVEN WARDS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
5 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. This ordinance is adopted in order to divide the area of the City of San
7
8 Bernardino into seven wards pursuant to Section 3 of the Charter of said City.
j 9 SECTION 2. Sections 1.16.020, 1.16.030, 1.16.040, 1.16.050, 1.16.060, 1.16.070 and

1.16.080 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
11 "1.16.020 First Ward.

12 The boundaries of the first ward of the City shall be as follows:
13 All that area within the present corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino described

14 as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Waterman Avenue and
15 Mill Street; thence south along said centerline of Waterman Avenue to the centerline of
16 Central Avenue; thence east, along said centerline of Central Avenue to the centerline of
17 Clevenger Drive; thence south along said centerline of Clevenger Drive to the centerline

of Independence Street; thence east along said centerline of Independence Street to the

centerline of Sunnyside Avenue; thence south along said centerline of Sunnyside
