2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 14.08. 110 REGARDING THE TIME FOR PAYMENT OF FRANCHISE

4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 . San Bernardino Municipal Code S 14.08. 110(B) is
6
hereby amended to read as follows:

"B. Franchise fees are to be paid on or before the 31st day
8
of March for the preceding calendar year, unless
9
otherwise directed in the franchise agreement. "
10 SECTION 2. San Bernardino Municipal Code S 14.08.110(F) is
11 hereby amended to read as follows:
12 "F. In the event that an franchise
y payment or recomputed
13 amount is not made on or before the dates specified in
14 the franchise agreement, or, if no date is specified in
15 the franchise agreement on or before March 31 of the
16 subsequent year, grantee shall pay as additional
17 compensation an interest charge, computed from such due
18 date, at the annual rate equal to the commercial prime
19 interest rate in effect upon the due date. "

3 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
4 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
5 San Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held on
6 the day of 1993, by the following vote, to wit:
