1. TEMPORARY HIRES - The Committee recommended approv-
al. Chapter 2.51 of the ordinance on temporary hires will be
presented at the November 6 Council Meeting.
2. RECLASSIFY SAFETY OFFICER TO MID-MANAGEMENT POSITION
AND RE-ESTABLISH POSITION OF TYPIST CLERK II - RISK MANAGE-
MENT DIVISION - The Committee recommended approval of the
requested reclassification of the Safety Officer to mid-
management and re-establishment of a Typist Clerk II position
in the Risk Management Division. This item will appear on
the November 6 agenda.
3. PROPOSED ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE - PUBLIC BUILDINGS
DIVISION - The Committee recommended approval of the request
to change the Public Buildings Division to the Facilities
Management Department. Item will be presented on November 6.
The salary recommendations were held in abeyance. The Com-
mittee requested the Director of Personnel to study this
issue and return to the Committee on November 9.
