Recommended motion:
1. That the transfer of $54,600, from Account No. 245-365-57729,
Intercepting Sewer from California Street and Porter Street to
Cajon Boulevard and Devil's Canyon Channel," to Account No. 245-
365-57728, "Intercepting Sewer along Cable Creek Channel, from
Cajon Boulevard to Industrial Parkway," be approved.
2. That the plans for the installation of an intercepting sewer
along Cable Canyon Channel, from Cajon Blvd. to Industrial Park-
way, in accordance with Plan No. 7822, be approved; and the Di-
rector of PW/City Engineer be auth 'zed to adv~rtl e for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of an intercepting sewer along
Cable Creek Canyon Channel, from Cajon Boulevard to Industrial
Parkway, have been prepared by the Engineering Division and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 216,280
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1860) 18,500
Sub-Total $ 234,780
Contingencies (15%) :!: 35,220
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 270,000
An initial amount of $215,400 was allocated in the
1988/89 Street Construction Fund Budget. The supplemental funds,
in the amount of $54,600, provided by this action, will provide a
total budget of $270,000.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
