STAFF REPORT
BACKGROUND:
On July 24, 1989 the Common Council adopted Chapter 15.20 requiring a
certificate of Occupancy (MC-671). Subsequently, on September 19,
1989, Common Council adopted Chapter 15.24 dealing with Property
Maintenance and requiring minimum standards (MC-679).

DIRECTOR OF BUILDING AND SAFETY TO RECOMMEND TO THE SAN

CERTAIN CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
4 STANDARD VIOLATIONS LISTED IN THE MUNICIPAL CODE.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
The Mayor and Common Council authorize the
8 Director of Building and Safety to recommend to the San
9 Bernardino Municipal Court the bail forfeiture penalties
10 contained in Exhibit "A" for the following Certificate of
11 Occupancy and Property Maintenance violations listed in the
12 following chapters:
