That ugreement expired on October 31, 1985. Lessee has continued to occupy th" premises on " month to month basis since then. The proper"ty is being used by the lessee for short term retention of paper for bulk shipment for recycling. The lease payment on the property is S1502.89 per month, plus a percent"ge of the income from their recycling operutions. The percentage varies from month \ 0 month but has aver'aged approximate Iy S900. 00 p"r month over the past year. Tl1ere have been several instances of damage caused to th" building by the I"ssee, by the equipment us"d in t.heir operations (fork-lifts, etc.), the majority of which has gone unrepaired. The building has several large openings and the n"wspapers have been allowed t.o collect outside of the building where they gather along the fence, and creute an unsightly nllisanc". The lessee recelltly advised us that the rear part of the building ha.l t.o be completely demolished due to severe damage, making the building unsafe. This was done without authorization by the City.
