ORDINANCE NO. 5 D ~ .
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE KEEPING OF HOGB WITHIN THE CITY OF
SAN BF..RNARDINO.

The Mayor and Common Council of the, City of S'lin
Bernardino 40 ordain as follows;
Sec. 1.
It shall be unl'awful for any 'gerson, firm,
or corporation to keep or maintain any hogs within the corpor~te
limits of the City of San Bernardino.
Sec. 2.
Every person who shall violate any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
'demeanor~ and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine
not exceeding Five Dollars ($5.00), lor by imprisonment in the City
Jail for a period not exceeding five (5) days, or by both SUGh
fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court..,
Sec. 3.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
required by law.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published for three consecutive
days in the Evening Index, a newspaper printed, ,published, and
circulated in the City bf San Bernardino.-
I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at its meeting held on the /? day of November, 1912,
by the following vote, to-wtt:
