nardino do hereby ordain as follows:

SReTION I. The width of the sidewalk on the West side

of I Street from the North line of Sixth Street to the South

line of Seventh Street in the City of San Bernardino shall be
Six (6) 1'eet measured from the property line to the outer line
of the curb, and the cement sidewalk shall be, when laid, Five
(5) :feet in width measured f"'rom a distance of One (1) f'oot from
the property line to and incl'.lding the outer curb, and the street

Superintendent in his discretion mayor may not remove any trees

found standing in the space to be occupied by the cement side-
walk or curb when found to be an obstruction to such sidewalk.
SEaTION II. ~n Bernardino Daily Su~ is hereby desig-

nated as the daily newspaper published and circulated in the City
of San Bernardino, in which this Ordinance shall be published.
The City Clerk s8a11 certify to the passage of this

Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in the said
San Bernardino Daily Sun by insertions thereof in three (3) con-
